My very first Blog

Okay so I'm trying out this whole blog thing and I really like the idea. The name is also good "Blog" just say it to yourself isn't it cool? I've always kinda wanted to do something like this but I have never been able to keep a diary. but I think I'll like Blogs, besides the name, but names mean a lot. Like I don't really like the term diary (great if you do) but to me it seems too girly and I'm not really a "girly girl" to me a diairy entry would be
Dear Diary,
I like Billy, Billy likes Susie, and Susie likes Bob. i hope this mess will straighten out.
Sincerely,
Me"
Now it's fine if you have a diairy and I'm so sorry if your entries are like, but I'm not one for that sorta thing.
Another "diairy" type term is a journel, but that reminds me of Lewis and Clark. don't get me wrong Lewis and Clark were great, but after hearing about how great they were for 14 years of life they start to get not-so-great and instead get oh-so-boring.
However one word I do like (even though it doesn't sound so amazing) is "log" because when I think of logs I think of ships. And when I think of ships I think of Adventures and Boy Howdy I love adventures. Every ship has an adventure from The Black Pearl in Pirates of the Caribbean to The Surprise in Master and Commander. But unforunately the log has other conantations like "The was a giant log that was about to crush me when I jumped over it." And I'm not talking about a giant book full of a ship's adventures rolling down a hill.
So that's why I like the word Blog it's one letter short of log. The word "blog" also makes it sound like you can a billion pages (that's an exaggeration by the way) or just write "I like chocolate" So anyway I hope you enjoy my blog, diairy, journel, log or whatever term you wish to use.

You'll be pleased to know, if you didn't already, that the word blog comes from "web log". So it probably should've been spelled 'blog.

Good thing they didn't call it "web diary" because "bdiary" just doesn't have quite as nice of a sound. And without having a reasonable sounding name, no one would want to be associated with it.

And I'm really, really excited that you're doing this. Yesterday, before you gave me your blog address, I went looking for it because I couldn't wait to read it. But I had to because I didn't find it. And when I finally got here I was very impressed.
